Art of Speed 2026 Returns with SoundCircus Festival on August 1-2, 2026

MAEPS to Be Rocked by Tenxi, Cokelat X Ella, Masdo, Iqbal M, and 50+ Other Musicians

KUALA LUMPUR, March 12, 2026 – Returning for its 15th edition after making history at its debut, Art of Speed 2026 (AOS 2026) invites visitors starting August 1, 2026 (10:00 am – late night) and August 2, 2026 (10:00 am – late night).

The event remains at the iconic Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS). Covering 452,084 square feet indoors and sprawling over 320 acres outdoors, each hall will be packed with diverse events, activities, and exhibitions sure to excite fans and visitors alike.

A highlight for 2026 is the return of the SoundCircus Festival, which had been absent for two years. It will occupy a 4-acre space featuring six stages for performances and activities.

The festival brings together artists and performers from Malaysia, Indonesia, and internationally, expected to draw large crowds just like previous editions.

As the Director of the Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM) Festival and SoundCircus Summer Festival 2026, Mr. Asep Ahmad Iskandar describes this year’s event as a major evolution, significantly impacting Malaysia’s creative industry and tourism development.

For this year’s edition, SoundCircus is present with a concept that was first introduced in selected performance slots such as Cokelat X Ella, where legends from 2 countries join forces on one stage with a concept named ‘TAKHTA RATU NUSANTARA’.

Jemson X Def Gab C, a combination of two rock groups from two different generations, presents a very special concept, especially for rock fans, with a concept named ‘LEGENDS X RENEGADES’.

Slatan 0108, which celebrates the new concept while celebrating the group’s anniversary with the name 010.8 FM, presents: Hari Slatan.

Not forgetting that this year we will be bringing local folk music with Issey (Penyampai Radio), and The Clique will be bringing a dikir barat performance themed ‘Custom Culture’ called ‘DIKIR KUSTOM’.

In addition, a special concept where two generations of father and son, Couple and Adnan Othman, will share the stage for the first time, called ‘POWER POP YEAH YEAH’.

‘30 YEARS OF ASIAN HARDCORE’ is one of the new concepts introduced to welcome and celebrate the hardcore music movement. Various performance concepts will be introduced specifically for SCF2026.

“We are proud to bring SoundCircus back to MAEPS, Serdang in 2026, marking the festival’s evolution and its growing impact on Malaysia’s creative industry and tourism development.”

“Since its inception in 2017, SoundCircus has been conceptualized as a curated music platform dedicated to supporting both established and emerging talent, particularly in Malaysia’s independent and underground music ecosystem.

In 2019, driven by a surge in public enthusiasm and record attendance, SoundCircus expanded from its original indoor location to an outdoor venue at MAEPS, drawing more than 5,000 festival-goers.

“This expansion marks a significant milestone in the development of the festival and underscores its growing influence in the regional live entertainment circuit,” said Asep.

AOSM is partnering with Tourism Selangor as a strategic collaborator for SoundCircus and Art Of Speed Festival.

According to Asep, the collaboration is in line with broader efforts to position Selangor as a vibrant hub for cultural tourism, creative industries, and large-scale lifestyle events.

Through this collaboration, SoundCircus is expected to attract not only local attendees but also regional and international visitors, contributing to the growth of domestic tourism, hospitality sector engagement, and overall economic activity in the state.

“With the support of Tourism Selangor, we aim to elevate SoundCircus to a destination music experience that raises Selangor’s profile as a leading creative and tourism destination in the region.

“The introduction of six-stage layouts in 2026 reflects our commitment to expanding the scale of the festival while maintaining artistic integrity and diversity,” added Mr. Asep.
