Honda PCX Returns to Malaysia The All-New PCX160 Now with Honda RoadSync

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (“BSH” or “the Company”) yesterday introduces the All-New Honda PCX160, marking the return of Honda PCX in Malaysia after 6 years. The new model brings a more refined design and Honda RoadSync connectivity to the country’s everyday urban riders.

A FAMILIAR IDENTITY, A NEW EXPRESSION

The All-new PCX160 returns with the identity, now with a more sophisticated and contemporary expression. Its refined design, premium detailing and enhanced presence are crafted for riders who appreciate both style and substance in their everyday urban journeys.

Following the arrival of Honda RoadSync on the Honda ADV160 announced earlier this year, the All-New Honda PCX160 now brings the same connectivity to everyday urban mobility. Through its 5-inch TFT meter, riders can access navigation calls, music and message notifications while on the move.

To date, Honda PCX160 and ADV160 are the only small displacement scooters that offers Honda RoadSync.

Additionally, rider confidence is supported by Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) technologies, more commonly associated with larger machines, now applied to a scooter built for everyday use.

BUILT FOR THE REALITIES OF THE DAILY RIDE

The 30-litre U-Box is designed for the daily hustle and unpredictable Malaysian weather, with room for work essentials such as a laptop bag alongside a raincoat or spare shoes.

The PCX160 is a certified Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), achieving fuel efficiency of up to 2.3 litres per 100km. Combined with 8.1-litre fuel tank, this gives a range of up to approximately 350km, meaning a fewer fuel stops and more freedom through the week. Sub-tank rear suspension and a comfortable footboard support a more relaxed ride, whether navigating stop-and-go traffic or covering longer distances.

Everyday convenience continues with the Honda Smart Key System, a multi-function switch that places essential controls within easy reach, a USB Type-C charging port, and full LED lighting for a modern look and improved visibility.

TRADE IN and UPGRADE TO ENJOY EXTENDED WARRANTY

An exclusive one-year extended warranty under Honda X-Tend Warranty is offered to customers who trade in their Honda PCX150 and upgrade to the All-New Honda PCX160. The offer is available through Honda Impian X, selected Honda dealers and iMotorbike inspection centres until 31 December 2026, with the extended warranty reflected in the Honda X platform.

Each comes with a two-year or 20,000km manufacturer’s warranty, whichever comes first, providing riders with greater peace of mind throughout their ownership journey.
