HARLEY-DAVIDSON 2022 NEW MODEL LAUNCH & OPEN HOUSE.

Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur, an authorised dealer of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles in Malaysia has unveiled and launched THREE (3) new model line-ups under the Grand American Touring and Cruiser segments. Under the Grand American Touring, the new model line-ups are the Road Glide™ ST and the Street Glide™ ST. As for the Cruiser segment, the new line-up that was unveiled was the improved Low Rider™ S.

The theme for 2022 is “Further. Faster.” The launch of the Road Glide™ ST and the Street Glide™ ST is the first step for us into that performance leading Grand American Touring product line. Designed for weight, designed for power and designed for performance, both motorcycles now more nimble and more powerful than ever. There is a big appetite for people who just want to take their bike not just riding on streets but making them a performance machine. It is a new sort of evolution that creates a new form factor for the performance bagger that makes riding more exciting. Now equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight™ 117ci Engine and a heavy breather, this makes both models an exceptional performance bagger.

In terms of design, there is a direct lineage back to our race bikes of the late nineteen teens and twenties. Today, the design is new and fresh but yet familiar and almost subliminal. Attitude is an important part of the ST models as well and the more subdued colorways. Coming in two colours, Vivid Black and Gunship Gray, finished with bronze wheels and bronze accents on the powertrain. The ST models are truly a blank canvas for performance parts and amplifying the ride.

The Low Rider™ S as we know was a popular model worldwide where it gave the great character, experience and emotional connection to the big twin powertrain but in a package that was a little bit lighter and nimble. This year, Harley-Davidson made the Low Rider™ S a more incredible machine and took it to a whole new level. The Low Rider™ S now performs exactly how it looks. The raw, unbridled feel to it. The powertrain is bumped up from a 114ci to a 117ci which gives 125 ft lbs. of torque. Like the Road Glide™ ST and the Street Glide™ ST, it has a heavy breather intake along with a new exhaust system. The instrumentation has also changed from the console in the fuel tank to the handlebars and the suspensions was also raised for better lean angle. Like the two Grand American Touring models, the Low Rider™ S comes in the same colorway, Vivid Black and Gunship Gray

As for pricing, the Harley-Davidson Street Glide ST starts from RM182,900.00 (Vivid Black) and RM184,900.00 (Gunship Gray).

Harley-Davidson Low Rider S – starts from RM115,900.00 (Vivid Black) and RM117,900.00 (Gunship Gray)

In conjunction with the launch and unveiling of the 2022 motorcycle line-up, Route 77 Harley- Davidson of Kuala Lumpur organized an open house event for the public to witness and experience the new models at the dealership. The Open House event is held for 2 days. Great deals are also available on certain clearance models and test ride for the Pan America™ and the Sportster™ S are also available during the event.

As the opening falls under the fasting month, the Harley Owner’s Group of Route 77 Kuala Lumpur Chapter has also organized an Iftar ride before the breaking of the fast. A total of 150 bikers from different motorcycle groups and chapters turned up for the unveiling.
