Launched in Hockenheim on Saturday 25 October 2008, the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series made its debut in 2009 and continue again in June 2013 for the fifth year.
After an amazing and thrilling start in Shanghai, China, the Asian Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo will be hosting the second leg of the race in Sepang, Malaysia from June 28 to June 30 with four further race weekends across Japan, China, Korea and Macau.
Absolute protagonist of the series is the exclusive racing car offered by Lamborghini, a lightweight version of the road-going 2013 Gallardo LP 560-4. The Gallardo Super Trofeo with 419 kW (570 hp) engine performance, re-engineered chassis and reduced weight is a permanent four-wheel drive, making the Super Trofeo the fastest one-make, all-wheel-drive motorsport series.
