Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia Introduces the Defender V8 into the Malaysian Market.

A beacon of luxury and adventure on the road, Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia (JLRM) launched the Defender V8 in the Malaysian market. The Defender V8 is designed to showcase the capability of combining modern performance technologies, luxurious interior designs and thrilling powertrains setting a new benchmark for luxury SUVs in Malaysia.

Defender V8 is available in two dynamic variants, the Defender 110 V8 and the Defender 130 V8. At the heart of the Defender V8 lies its powerful V8 engine, available in two impressive configurations. The Defender 110 V8 boasts a 5.0L supercharged V8 engine, delivering an astounding 525PS with 625Nm of torque and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the Defender 130 V8 features a 5.0L V8 engine producing 500PS and 610Nm of torque, surge forwards from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. Both variants are engineered to provide a thrilling driving experience, whether navigating urban streets or conquering rugged terrains.

Equipped with a signature exhaust note and soundtrack, the Defender V8 comes with Quad outboard mounted exhaust pipes, delivering a deep, roaring V8 soundtrack, its distinct growl sets it apart from other variants. The Defender V8 carries its heritage forward but adjoins with modern power and high performance with upgraded modern engineering. Designed for versatility, the Defender 110 V8 includes 40:20:40 heated rear seats with a split-folding design with a centre armrest, while the Defender 130 V8 features 60:40 rear seats with manual slide and recline allowing for extension of the cargo area alongside with 40:20:40 folding and third-row seats with capability of carrying 8 passengers, offering unmatched flexibility and comfort for all journeys.
