The all new E-Class range from Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has unveiled the all-new Mercedes-Benz E 350 AMG, the E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde and the Mercedes-Benz E 300 Exclusive Line.

Introducing the new E-Class range, Mark Raine, Vice President, Sales and Marketing of MBM said, “As the vehicle of choice in the premium executive limousine segment, we are proud to introduce the all-new Mercedes-Benz E 350 AMG Line to now lead the E-Class range. The locally-assembled car also comes with a four-cylinder 2.0 engine equipped with a belt-driven starter generator and the Driving Assistance Package with state-of-the-art safety technologies”.

Raine added, “Alongside the E 350 AMG Line debut, we are also proud to introduce two new variants − the Mercedes-Benz E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde and the Mercedes-Benz E 300 Exclusive – to further complete the existing lineup. New in the E 200 and the E 300 is the Blind Spot Assist and the Lane Tracking Package, respectively.

According to Raine, the E-Class is the core of the Mercedes-Benz brand and has gone through several stages of redefinition to continue carrying the wealth of top-class innovations, stylish highlights and an impeccable interior with high-value perception.

The new range of locally-assembled Mercedes-Benz E-Class takes a step further in the evolution of safety, comfort and performance while upholding the standard of design and luxury. With the latest Mercedez-Benz E 350 AMG Line, the Mercedes-Benz E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde and the Mercedes-Benz E 300 Exclusive customers will get to experience best-in-class luxury and performance.

E 350 AMG

2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with twin-scroll turbocharge. Producing an output of 220 kW (299 hp) with a maximum torque of 400 Nm with an addition of 150 Nm boost attributed by the belt-driven starter generator, allowing it to boast an acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h in only 5.9 seconds. Ride comfort comes in the form of DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension with adjustable damping between maximum agility or high damping comfort suited to the route profile and personal driving style.

E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde

Comes with a wide range of exterior cosmetic package like an 18-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, chrome louvre below the front bumper, a badge on the front wing, a chrome trim element in the rear bumper in high-gloss black, as well as visible tailpipe embellishers on the outside.

On the inside, the SPORTSTYLE package consists of the headliner in black fabric, centre console in light carbon grain aluminum trim, sport pedals in brushed stainless steel with black rubber stuffs and the SPORTSTYLE package floor mats.

The heart is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing a total output of 145 kW (197 hp) with a maximum torque of 320 Nm.  The Blind Spot Assist comes in this model as part of the safety and assistance package.

E 300 Exclusive

Unlike the E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde and E 350 AMG Line. The E  300 has a classic Mercedes radiator grille, and the iconic star on the bonnet.

The engine is a similar E 200 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, but this one produces a total output of 190 kW (258 hp) with a maximum torque of 370 Nm.

The E 300 Exclusive is equipped with Lane Tracking package which includes the Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist to ensure the driver does not drift into other traffic.
