The NXR series from SHOEI is the longest-standing and most decorated full-face helmet model, and its latest version, the NXR 2, embodies the tagline “PURENESS REFINED.” SHOEI’s world-class team of designers and engineers utilized their state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility, proprietary materials, and industry-leading quality assurance practices to evolve the pursuit of perfection to the next level and create the NXR 2, the company’s lightest and most compact ECE 22.06 homologation approved full-face helmet model.

The NXR 2 boasts impressive aerodynamic improvements, with a compact, aerodynamic shell shape featuring an integrated spoiler, strategically-shaped air intake and exhaust vents that streamline the overall profile and reduce the forces placed on a rider’s head. The helmet also features advanced noise reduction technology, including vortex generators on the sides of the shield, new airtight window beading, and voluminous cheek pads and removable ear pads that provide a quiet riding experience without blocking informative sounds.

The ventilation system of the NXR 2 is wind tunnel-optimized to provide a perfect balance between airflow and silence, with six air intake vents and four exhaust outlets, an enlarged exhaust outlet vent, and a large 3-position lower vent shutter for ease of use with riding gloves. The shield system features a CWR-F2 shield that protects from 99% of the sun’s damaging UV rays and provides a distortion-free view throughout the entire field of vision, and a PINLOCK EVO fog-resistant system that is 10% larger for improved lateral vision. The CWR-F2 base plate system has been completely redesigned for quicker, smoother shield changes, and SHOEI’s patented spring-loaded technology ensures a wind and waterproof seal.

The NXR 2 is available in plain, graphic, and rider versions, with prices ranging from RM 2400 to RM 2980, depending on the color and graphics. The helmet also features an E.Q.R.S. security system (Emergency Quick Release System).
