Round five of the PETRONAS Malaysian Cub Prix Championship will be held at the Dataran Seri Jempol, on 16th-17th July 2022 whereas Round ten will be held at Batu Kawan, Penang on 3rd-4th December 2022.
Ron Hogg, Director of Promotions, Safe Aim Mutual Sdn. Bhd. (SAM) said, “The unique proposition of PETRONAS Malaysian Cub Prix stems from the highly anticipated and adrenaline rush of racing on the streets or temporary circuits, the tradition of Cub Prix all these years, pre-pandemic. Our mission since the beginning of this national championship is to bring the excitement and essence of race performances closer to our communities instead of being watched only on television or from a distance as in the permanent circuits.”
“The races on the permanent circuits will continue as usual as this would fuel the need to enhance the racing standards of Malaysian motorcycle racing championship. Having said that, we hope to have more facilities, infrastructures and circuits catered to the needs of the motorcycle racing championship in our country.”
