Nabil Jeffri and his all-Malaysian team finish a remarkable P4 despite the odds in the 6 Hours WEC of Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium

The 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps on May 5 saw our beloved all-Malaysian team finishing the race at a remarkable P4, despite set backs. Racing under Jackie Chan DC Racing x Jota, Nabil, Jazeman and Weiron were running a strong P2 with their FortuneCat#37 until the last 65th minute when they pit in for the final driver switch. During this pit, unfortunately, a crash occurred in sector 1, forcing the untimely deployment of a safety car and automatically turning the pit exit light red. The team were so close to an almost certain podium debut, if not for the unlucky final pit in. However, the team’s successful climb back to a strong finish scored them valuable World Championship points in the first leg of the FIA WEC 2018/19 Super Season.
