2024 marks a historic milestone for MOTUL, as it officially announces its strengthened presence in Malaysia. This strategic move is built upon a robust 30-year local legacy, bringing closer ties with the brand to the local automotive market, and renewing MOTUL Malaysia’s commitment to excellence in lubricant technologies.

Over the past 30 years, MOTUL Malaysia has established itself as a key player in the Malaysian automotive sector, combining global expertise with local market knowledge and insights. The brand has consistently dedicated itself to research and development to meet unique local market needs. Most recently, MOTUL was named Event Title Sponsor for the upcoming 2024 Sepang 12 Hours, reinforcing the prominent role the brand plays in motorsports and in providing unmatched performance and reliability through its superior product range.

For 30 years, both partners have strived towards building MOTUL’s brand equity, aligned in their shared commitment to provide high performance products for consumers. MOTUL Malaysia’s market entry reflects the importance of working with like-minded partners such as HIGH N, in building lasting customer loyalty amongst Malaysian automotive enthusiasts. Currently, HIGH N is the sole macro distributor for MOTUL Motorcycle products in Malaysia.

Strengthening MOTUL Malaysia’s local presence

At the core of MOTUL Malaysia’s local operations are strategic collaborations with distributor partners across key regions in Malaysia. This network has been crucial to entrenching MOTUL’s local presence, and in expanding the business by providing unparalleled access to its products nationwide. For instance, in the motorcycle segment, HIGH N has worked with MOTUL throughout all 30 years of their market presence and has been instrumental in growing MOTUL Malaysia’s footprint.
