MOTUL 12 HOURS OF SEPANG RETURNS SATURDAY!

After a successful event in 2023 and 2024, the Motul 12 Hours of Sepang returns once more, with Top Speed, Motul and Pirelli bringing 12-hour endurance racing back to Sepang International Circuit 14 – 15 March.

Staying true to its Asia Pacific roots, all the teams in the field will once again be from the region, but drivers from all over the world behind the wheel gives the event a true international flavour.

The 2024 Motul 12 Hours of Sepang winner, R&B Racing returns, in new colours and team name, Origine Motorsport, and will have YUAN Bo, Leo YE Honglu and Adderly FONG in the driver’s seat of the #87 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

After finishing first and second in GT3 last year, and second and third overall, Absolute Racing and B-Quik return with two Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II, the #5 entry driven by Haziq ZAIREL OH, Hairie ZAIREL OH and Aaron LIM SAY JOON, while Henk KIKS, Akash NANDY and Sandy STUVIHK will pilot the #26 B-Quik branded Audi.

Three more Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II entries sees #11 326 Racing Team of WU Yifan, LAI Jingwen, LIU Zichen and XU Zheyu, #601 Champion Motorsport join with TSE Ka Hing, TANG Phillip, TANG Tien Foo and CHAN Chi Chung onboard, and LI Dongsheng, LI Donghui, LU Wei, LING Kang and ZHOU Liyuan will share racing responsibilities in the #777 Climax Racing outfit.

A top five finisher in GT3, local Malaysian team Viper Niza Racing is back at the event and will see Douglas KHOO, Dominic ANG and Melvin MOH in the #65 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

Earl Bamber Racing (EBM) returns, with the #61 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Adrian D’SILVA, Loek HARTOG and Dorian BOCCOLACCI. CHEN Fangping, LU Wenlong, LI Xuanyu and HU Bo will be behind the wheel of the #610 610 Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. The team also has a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in GTC with WONG Yat Shing Sunny, YAN Chuang, Peter LI Zhicong and Leona CHIN Lyweoi sharing pilot duties.

#33 33R Harmony Racing is the solo Ferrari 296 GT3 R in the field and has Jason LOH, LUO Kailuo, CHEN Weian and Jazeman JAAFAR onboard.

The Motul 12 Hours of Sepang will not only have a diverse range of participants but will also see machinery from four different GT3 manufacturers – Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-AMG and Ferrari, powered by Pirelli, and two classes, GT3 – Pro/AM and AM – and GTC.

After supporting the previous Motul 12 Hours of Sepang and both Shanghai 8 Hours, Pirelli return as official tyre manufacturer, to ensure consistency and quality across the board.

The race will be free to watch, live and uninterrupted worldwide, on the Motul 12 Hours of Sepang Facebook and YouTube page. In addition, there will also be two live streams available in China.

Over 120 media have been accredited for the event, from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Germany and China.

Free access to the grandstand is also available for fans to come and watch in person.
