KAWASAKI MOTORS MALAYSIA LAUNCHED 4 NEW MODELS
In conjunction with Kawasaki Motors Malaysia Annual Gala Dinner and Chinese New Year Celebration, they took this opportunity to also launch 4 new premium models namely the Ninja Z900 ABS, Z650 ABS, Ninja 650 ABS, and Versys X 250.
Gracing and officiating the launch were the deputy Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government, Yang Berhormat Datuk Halimah Binti Mohamed Sadique, Mr. Takeshi Asano, Vice President, Motorcycle and Engine Company, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd, Japan, Mr. Wee Hong, Chairman of Malaysia Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association (MMSDA), Yang Berbahagia Datin Katrina Binti Abdullah, Director of Kawasaki Motors Malaysia and Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Jeffrey Lim, General Manager and Director of Kawasaki Motor Malaysia.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ahmad Faez Bin Tan Sri Yahaya, the executive chairman of Kawasaki Motors Malaysia, thanked all Kawasaki Ninja shop dealers, premium dealers and stockists for their loyalty and commitment towards the brand. “With the arrival of these 4 new models, full support from our principal, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Limited Japan, will be required to re-capture our market share. This year’s Gala Dinner tagline, “One Kawasaki” is also in-line with KHI Japan’s target to bond all Kawasaki distributors around the world to achieve Kawasaki’s common goals and interest”. adds Mr. Ahmad Faez.

The new Z900 is the latest member in the iconic Z family. The Sugomi design, the Japanese word describing the intense aura or energy given off by a person or object of greatness and felt by the viewer, does gives a more aggressive and dynamic look than its predecessor. Obvious changes are the front head lamp, the instrument panel, the frame and engine.
