Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (“HLYM”) today launched its 24th Yamaha Balik Kampung Road Safety Campaign in collaboration with Malaysia Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association (MMSDA). HLYM has partnered with Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) to activate the campaign at selected Petronas stations.

The campaign theme – “Pulang Selamat, Keluargamu Menanti” – connects with the excitement of Malaysians looking forward to returning to their hometowns to celebrate this year’s Raya after the various lockdowns due to COVID-10 over the past 2 years. The campaign aims to remind motorcyclists to be safe on the road and provides free safety checks for motorcycles regardless of make along with a consultation to riders to drive in the message of the importance of periodic maintenance.

Throughout the four-day campaign period, PDB will be giving away Petronas Coffee Break packages which contain specially curated goodies to all visitors at these stations. Visitors will also enjoy a variety of goodies from Hong Leong Bank (HLB), Racing Boy (RCB), Yukazan, MAXXIS and SOS Fastlane, who are among the campaign’s co-sponsors. Additionally, a total of 300 SIRIM-approved helmets sponsored by Aeon Credit and KHI Helmets Industries Sdn Bhd, as well as safety vests sponsored by Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Bhd, will be distributed to the visitors during the campaign period on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The 24th Yamaha Balik Kampung Road Safety Campaign will be launched at the Petronas station in Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) and then activated at the Petronas stations during the period listed below for motorcyclists of all makes to enjoy a complimentary safety check from the Yamaha team.
