BYD LAUNCHES THREE (3) 3S CENTRES IN KLANG VALLEY

Sime Darby Motors, the automotive arm of Sime Darby Berhad, and BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, clocked another milestone with the official launch of three 3s centres in Klang Valley.

Located strategically in Ara Damansara, Glenmarie and Cheras, the centres aim to provide good accessibility, convenience and top-notch sales and aftersales services for BYD customers within the Klang Valley area.

Sime Darby Motors’ subsidiary, Sime Darby Beyond Auto (SDBA), has developed BYD’s 3s centre in Ara Damansara. A launch ceremony at the new centre to commemorate the milestone was held recently, which saw the presence of  Dato’ Jeffri Salim Davidson, Group Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Berhad; Andrew Basham, Managing Director of Sime Darby Motors; Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau; Wang Chuanfu,  Chairman and President of BYD; Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; and Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn Bhd and PT. BYD MOTOR INDONESIA.

SDBA has invested approximately RM 11 million into the new BYD 3s centre in Ara Damansara. The centre sits on an approximately 19,375 square-foot built-up area and is equipped with the latest facilities and retail concept that comply with BYD’s brand identity. The facility includes a total of four service working bays with the capacity to service up to 270 units of vehicle per month with a total of 48 passionate employees supporting the facility.

The BYD 3s centre in Glenmarie, which is managed by BYD Sisma Auto, measures approximately 21,527 sq ft.  It has a capacity to display up to nine vehicles and the facility is equipped with 10 service work bays.

Meanwhile, the BYD 3s centre in Cheras has been set up by Millenium Autobeyond with approximately 21,323 sqft. built-up area and a capacity to display up to four cars and equipped with five service work bays.

Customers can enjoy a variety of amenities in these new BYD 3S Centres such as comfortable lounges, complimentary WiFi service, charging bays, as well as free flow coffee and snacks*.

As we strive to further elevate customer satisfaction, BYD also believes that the opening of these three (3) BYD 3s Centres can support the increasing demands for BYD EVs as well as aftersales services within the Klang valley area.

With such encouraging growth, BYD is working diligently towards building more BYD showrooms to cater to the increasing demands and consumer needs especially in the northern and southern region of Malaysia. By the end of 2023, SDBA expects to further grow its dealer network across the country.
