Boon Siew Honda launches the all-new sporty premium scooter Honda Vario 160 carrying the latest innovative aspects on the engine, frame, design, and increasingly sophisticated features.

The Honda Vario 160 carries the latest generation engine with a capacity of 157cc 4-valve capable of producing maximum power to 11.3 kW @ 8,500 rpm with a peak torque of 13.8 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine is integrated with enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) technology to enhance fuel efficiency and can reduce friction without compromising the engine output. Riders will enjoy a dynamic performance that will bring their joy to a new level when passing through congested traffic in the city.

In terms of comfort and supporting its high performance, the All-New Honda Vario 160 is built with an enhanced Smart Architecture Frame (eSAF) that is lighter and more durable. The motorcycle is now more agile and easy to manoeuvre, thus, enhancing the daily riding experience.

The features of the Honda Vario 160 model come with the Honda Smart Key System which is equipped with an alarm and answer back system that provides offers peace of mind for the riders when parking. The bike is equipped with Antilock-Braking System (ABS) and the rear position brake for increased stability during sudden braking.

The Honda Vario 160 is supported by wider tubeless tire sizes, front 100/80-14 and rear 120/70-14 that will give riders more confidence and comfort with larger tire sizes and new cast wheel designs that will provide ease in riding as well as an increasingly elegant appearance.

The Honda Vario 160 offers fresh features in terms of appearance. The lighting system comes in full LED on all lighting points exclusively on the headlight, taillight, and blinkers giving the bike a modern and sporty touch. The Vario 160 is equipped with a full digital panel meter with complete necessary information including Smart Key indicators, digital hours, fuel consumption, and ABS indicator.

The Honda Vario 160 comes with a USB charger type A, where a socket is available for charging without the need to use an additional adapter. Riders will also be able to bring most of their belongings as the Vario 160 comes with vast 18-liter utility storage.

The Honda Vario 160 is available in four colour options namely Vivacity Red, Pear Nightfall Blue and Sword Silver Metallic. While the Black Edition will be available from February 2023.
