Boon Siew Honda introduces the new Honda CB250R. This lightweight ‘Neo Sports Café’ bike was last updated in 2019 and has been renowned for its appeal as a small entry-level machine that is inspired by a big bike stance.
Since its introduction, the CB250R has always stood out from the crowd. In the rider’s seat, the new Honda CB250R’s LCD display gives a modern outlook with a gear positioning indicator that is clear and easy to read. The CB250R’s unique round headlight comes in full LED with a dual-bar light signature giving the bike a very rugged front look.
The front suspension has been upgraded with 41mm Showa Separate Fork Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks. A pressure separation damper in one fork tube and a spring mechanism in the other deliver high damper performance and lighter weight. Together with the use of a larger-sized piston, the outcome enhances front-end feel handling while braking and excellent bump absorption. The rear shock offers a 5-step spring preload adjustment.
The CB250R is powered by a single-cylinder DOHC, a four-valve engine with a six-speed gearbox. The slipper clutch gives a smooth control when shifting gears, especially through the downshifts.
One noteworthy feature of The Honda CB250R is its two-channel ABS that is dynamically managed by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to ensure that the brake force is evenly distributed to both the front and rear wheels, minimizing rear wheel lift thus providing the rider full confidence an excellent control throughout the braking.
