KOTA SURAKARTA, INDONESIA, 6 OCTOBER 2017 – A week remaining until the long-awaited 2017 FIM Asia SuperMoto Championship – Indonesia, fans in Southeast Asia’s largest country began gearing up for the race weekend with high expectation on the championship’s outcome. However, fret not if one cannot attend the championship, as it will be streamed live in HD on www.twenty3.tv from 10:00AM to 6:00PM (+7:00GMT), 14 and 15 October 2017.
Andrew Ching, Chief Executive Officer of E-Plus Global Sdn Bhd, the organiser of the championship and founding company of twenty3.tv, said that fans could look forward to another exciting round of battle between top global SuperMoto riders. “The excitement is building up positively in Indonesia. Our fans are eagerly waiting for the race to commence. The large turnout during the Bold Xperience Road to FIM Asia SuperMoto Championship at Tangerang last weekend was the proof of the community’s commitment and enthusiasm towards the championship.”
He added that fans across the globe who cannot attend the championship could view the race on twenty3.tv for free. “Our aim is always to develop a sport for the global market. Therefore we are providing this opportunity for the world to witness the excitement and growth of the fastest growing motorsport championship in Asia.”
The Indonesia round will receive riders from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Latvia, Philippines, India United States of America, Sri Lanka and France competing for the fame and championship standing points.
Chart leader #8 Lewis Cornish, #5 Trakarn Thangthong, #17 Marcel Van Drunen, #1 Muhd Habibullah and #32 Khairy Zakaria will fight out for the podium. As the race to the top begins once again, the five frontiers is expected to lead the pack with a dramatic brawl for a chance to change the leaderboard standing. While the Indonesians are rooting for their home team, Team Samarinda D’Jagung’s #162 Farhan Hendro and #7 Pedro Wuner, an exciting match is expected to stage the Indonesia round as the duo fights for home pride.
