SS600
#77 Adam Norrodin.
“In Race 2, I started really well and managed to win the race. It was not as easy as I expected. I can see that most Yamaha bikes struggled in this race for the rear grip. I am thankful I got the chance to redeem my mistake from yesterday by winning Race 2. But this is only the first round. There are still many rounds to go. Step by step we will learn on what we went through in this round. I will give my best to the team. I wanted to say I’m proud of how Ibrahim progressed this round. There are a lot of things we need to improve and we will work together and achieve it. Thank you to my team and everyone involved. See you next round!”

“In Race 2, I started well in the race. Lap by lap I overtook riders in the front until I was in P2 behind Adam. I gave my very best to reach that position. Unfortunately in the last lap, I crashed in the last corner . It was my mistake for braking too late and nearly hit Adam. To my team, they did a great job with the bike setting. I would like to say thank you to my team, family and sponsors for giving me the opportunity to race this year. I am gonna do better in the next round in Australia.”

Team Manager
“I would say that I am very happy with the performance of our riders today. In 600 class, they both were fighting together for P1 but Ibrahim crashed in the last turn. To be honest I am impressed with Ibrahim’s performance this weekend. He is a rookie in this class, but he showed top performance this weekend. For Danial, he did a great job in Race 2, He was fighting in the second group until the end of the race. All I wanted is for Danial to gain back his confidence in the race. On the team side, I am absolutely happy how everybody worked all weekend from testing until today. I hope we can maintain this performance throughout this year and to perform race by race. I would like to thank all our partners, sponsors and trainers who has been training our riders everyday off-season. Hopefully we can keep this momentum and be the best in every race.”
