Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd, the manufacturer and distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has launched the all-new Honda RS-X Winner with a host of new features designed to elevate the riding experience to another level.

Suitable for both daily commutes in the city and leisurely weekend rides, the versatile all-new Honda RS-X Winner offers an unbeatable combination of sporty good looks, the latest advanced technology, thoughtful and rider-friendly features, exceptional performance and most importantly, proven quality and reliability, backed by global leadership.

The all-new Honda RS-X Winner, which has received a 5-star rating in the MyMAP Program that confirms that the bike has met stringent international production, safety, technological innovation and customer support standards, has been upgraded with seven  major  enhancements for a superior riding experience:

1. BRAND NEW 150 CC ENGINE

A new 150 cc DOHC, 6-speed liquid-cooled engine that is designed for outstanding power (maximum power output and torque of 11.8 kW and 13.6 Nm respectively) and exceptional acceleration across the engine’s RPM range. As an EEV-certified  motorbike,  it  offers  excellent fuel economy with consumption of 50km/litre.

2. ASSIST AND SLIPPER CLUTCH

A brand-new smart feature that prevents rear tyre slippage and helps riders manoeuvre better with a lighter clutch mechanism. Some of the benefits include:

• Better control: The slipper clutch helps the rider maintain control and stability, especially when braking late or downshifting
• Smoother gear shifts: The slipper clutch allows for controlled  slippage  of  the  clutch  plates during rapid
• Reduced wear and tear: The slipper clutch can reduce wear and tear on the bike’s parts, thereby, lowering the maintenance

3. HONDA SMART KEY SYSTEM

This advanced smart electronic system enables riders to start the engine and lock the handlebar. It also incorporates an Anti-theft Alarm and Answer Back System for enhanced security. There is no need to take the Honda Smart Key out of the pocket. Just turn the ignition, push the start button and ride off.

4. USB CHARGING PORT

This versatile and convenient USB charging port with a waterproof cover allows riders to charge their phones and devices on the go and ensure that they never run out of juice even on long rides.

5. AGGRESSIVE SPORTS STYLING

One of Honda RS-X ’s main appeal is its aggressive and muscular design. The all-new Honda RS-X Winner sports a more masculine design with continuous sharp lines from front to back that contribute to an agile and aerodynamic image.

6. SEPARATE HANDLE SWITCH DESIGN

For enhanced rider safety,  the  all-new  Honda  RS-X  Winner  features  separate  handle  switch. It provides intuitive and precise control over  various functions; including headlight,  turn signals and horn, allowing riders to focus on the road ahead.

7. SPORTS DESIGN CAST WHEEL

New, sportier and more dynamic 17-inch wheel design that complements the all-new Honda RS-X’s masculine design. The wheels are lightweight but strong for better stability and predictability at higher speeds.

The recommended retail price for the all-new Honda  RS-X Winner  is  RM9,998.00 (excluding  road tax, insurance and registration) for the three standard colours  —  Blue,  Green  and  Matte Gray. It is also available in Special Yellow at RM10,298.00 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). The bike comes with a two-year or 20,000km warranty, whichever comes first.
