SKY TEAM ACE 125 CAFÉ RACER

Sky Team (M) Sdn Bhd, with its parent company in Hong Kong which specializes in mini and hobby motorcycles, had a humble launch of their latest offering, the ACE 125 Café-racer at Elite Go-Kart circuit in the state of Selangor, Malaysia on the 9^th of May 2017.

Sky Team (M) Sdn Bhd came onto Malaysian shore back in 2012 and introduced its Skyteam PBR 110 and Skyteam Lady 110, both street legal mini bikes. With a growing market for Café Racer, Sky Team (M) Sdn Bhd with over 153 dealers all over Malaysia is confident that their latest offering, the ACE 125 Café-racer is going to sell well. Estimating about 400 units per year.

We were provided with 2 models to test around the 990 meters long circuit. The standard version and the another which is fitted with additional accessories like the hump rear seat cover, tank strap and a modified exhaust which according to the engineer is slightly more powerful.

The ACE 125 Café-racer is a pretty basic motorcycle, which is good because you do not need a lot of high end maintenance. Easy and fun to ride, and you can rest assure of the quality especially on the engine because it is based on the well-known Honda CG engine platform.

This is one motorcycle that every age group and gender can take on easily. Start is just a push of a button with an option to kick start it if you feel like going back in time before the introduction of electric start motorcycle. Seat is comfortable and you can ride on to the sun set, taking in the environment and surrounding with you as you go.

Considering it is a single cylinder motorcycle, the vibration was kept to its minimal. The front telescopic fork and rear twin shock did their job well in the handling department.

The ACE 125 Café-racer is selling at RM7, 366.78 inclusive of GST, Insurance and Road Tax.
