BOON SIEW HONDA RAISES THE BAR AGAIN WITH THE NEW ADV160

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (“BSH” or “Company”) yesterday officially unveiled the new ADV160 during the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 at MAEPS, Serdang.

Two variants were introduced: the ADV160 Honda RoadSync and the ADV160 ABS. Completing the full-circle connectivity technology across Honda’s ADV family. With this launch, the X-ADV 750, ADV350, and ADV160 are now all available with Honda RoadSync, reinforcing Honda’s position as the pioneer of the adventure market.

Since introducing the first ADV model, Honda has continued to listen, learn, and refine. The new ADV160 in both variants features a 157cc, Enhanced Smart Power+ (eSP+) engine, certified as Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) and earned a 5-star MyMAP accreditation. It delivers 11.8kW of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Key standard features include:

• Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) – helps maintain traction on slippery surfaces
• Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) – provides controlled braking in various conditions
• Adjustable windscreen – one-finger adjustment for highway cruising or off-road riding
• LED lighting system – improves visibility with a modern, rugged look
• Honda Smart Key System – includes anti-theft alarm and answer-back function
• USB Type-C charging port – conveniently located in the console box
• 30 litres of under-seat storage – spacious enough for a full-face helmet and daily essentials
• Rear Suspension with SHOWA Subtank – delivers a smoother, more comfortable ride
• 350km fuel range – Kuala Lumpur to Penang on a single tank

ADV160 Honda RoadSync: Fully Connected

The ADV160 Honda RoadSync variant comes with a 5-inch TFT meter integrated with the Honda RoadSync connectivity system. Through seamless smartphone connection, riders can access navigation, calls, music, and message notifications; all displayed directly on the screen.

ADV160 ABS: Same Spirit, Everyday Practicality

The ADV160 ABS delivers the same adventurous spirit, practicality, and riding confidence that riders have come to expect from the ADV series. Equipped with a functional digital meter panel and signature rugged styling, this variant is designed for riders seeking versatility and everyday convenience without compromising comfort or performance.

The new Honda ADV160 will arrive at all Honda Impian X and authorized dealerships nationwide on 11 June 2026 onwards.

BSH offers a 2-year or 20,000km manufacturing warranty (whichever comes first) to ensure a worry-free ownership experience.
