The Malaysian Harley-Davidson community is undertaking three major international expeditions, uniting local motorcycle clubs and independent riders under the global banner of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). Supported by Didi Group and the official dealer network—home to the H.O.G. Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and Johor Bahru Chapters— these epic journeys collectively intend to earn historic recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records.
Covering more than 49,000 kilometers across Asia and Europe, these rides represent the ultimate expression of the H.O.G. spirit: adventure, endurance, and global brotherhood.
The first expedition, Merdeka Ride 2026, is an ambitious 100-day overland journey from Kuala Lumpur to London, proudly organized and led by Shadowfax MC under the vision of its founder, Dato’ Anand. Departing on 24 May 2026 and concluding on 31 August 2026, the riders will conquer approximately 24,700 kilometers. This epic route traverses 25 countries and 69 states across Southeast Asia, China, Central Asia, the Caucasus region, and Europe, before making a historic arrival in London on Malaysia’s Independence Day.
The second expedition, the HRB MC 2026 China Southwest Riding Tour, will see members of Heaven Respect Brotherhood Motorcycle Club undertake a 10,000-kilometre ride through China’s southwest region following their flag-off on 29 April 2026. The team aims to become the first Harley-Davidson group to conquer the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, recognized as the world’s highest bridge.
The third expedition is the Johor Bahru to Mount Kailash Motorcycle Expedition, featuring riders from H.O.G. Johor Bahru, Muscle Rider MC, Shadowfax MC, and Jivathma MC. The riders rolled out on 25 May 2026, and will cover more than 15,000 kilometers through Thailand, Laos, Yunnan Province, and Tibet before reaching Mount Kailash, located 6,638 meters above sea level.
The Power of the H.O.G. Umbrella
While led by distinct clubs and teams, these expeditions are fuelled by the unified support of Didi Group, Harley-Davidson Malaysia, and the official H.O.G. Chapter network. It showcases the unique camaraderie of the Harley Owners Group, where independent clubs and chapter members collaborate to put Malaysian adventure motorcycling on the global map.
Should the record attempts be successfully completed, these H.O.G. community riders will earn a permanent place in Malaysian motorcycling history with official recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records.
