Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. that participated in the recently concluded Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025), at MAEPS, Serdang highlighted its concept of “Driving Innovation, Connecting Lives” featuring the latest technologies, such as the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), E-Clutch, and intuitive Honda Connectivity via RoadSync and Android Auto . Visitors test rode the E-Clutch Series of both CBR650R and CB650R, explored the smart features, and learned about after-sales services such as Pro Honda lubricants and the Honda X platform with exciting activities at the booth.
Taking a glimpse into the future, Honda is accelerating its push toward carbon neutrality by 2050 with the introduction two of EV concept lineup with EV Fun Concept, designed for fun use as Honda’s first electric sports bike, and the EV Urban Concept, developed for urban electric mobility with its function-focused design, connected technologies, and in-house developed battery pack. These models underscore Honda’s commitment to a sustainable, electrified future.
One of key highlights at MAS 2025 was the Honda’s E-Clutch system. This system automatically disengages the clutch based on factors like throttle input and engine speed, eliminating the need for a manual lever. By adapting to riding conditions in real-time, the E-Clutch ensures smooth, precise gear shifts, providing a more effortless and intuitive ride.
Honda’s DCT featured models like the Africa Twin and X-ADV. By using two clutches for seamless gear shifts, it delivers a comfortable, available to ride in both automatic and manual modes, ideal for urban traffic and long adventures.
Visitors also experienced Honda’s Connectivity through Virtual Reality (VR). By putting on a headset, they took a virtual ride to discover how smart Honda bikes can be with the Honda RoadSync system, which links smartphones to motorcycles, providing easy access to navigation, calls, messages, and music. These are available on models like the CB650R, CBR650R, and X-ADV, it integrates seamlessly into your ride. Flagship models such as the Gold Wing and Africa Twin also support Android Auto via Bluetooth and USB, offering Google Maps, calls, and streaming services on the screen.
Visitor can also explored Honda’s other advanced features, including Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and Enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+), underlining Honda’s dedication to innovation.
The Service Hub corner showcased Pro Honda engine oils that is globally trusted for its performance, efficiency, and durability. With low-viscosity formulas and rigorous testing, they reflected Honda’s commitment to quality with planning to expand into semi and fully synthetic options to further enhance the riding experience.
The ‘Honda X’ digital platform was also featured with offers of free registration for digital services like service booking, maintenance reminders, and updates on news, events, and promotions. New additions like e-vouchers and digital Free Service Coupons enhances the service experience for owner.
