Innovative Advanced Platform Sets New Industry Standards

At the heart of the BYD SEAL lies an innovative Advanced e-platform 3.0, positioning it as a trailblazer in safety and performance. The BYD SEAL is the first model equipped with the innovative CTB (cell-to-body) technology, seamlessly integrating the Blade Battery into the vehicle’s structure, ensuring stability and safety under diverse conditions. Coupled with the revolutionary iTAC technology, it further elevates driving dynamics, minimising or potentially eliminating skidding, unlocking the full potential of the vehicle’s power and ensuring a secure and smooth driving experience.

Beyond these revolutionary features, the BYD SEAL is equipped with e-Platform 3.0, showcasing intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics in perfect harmony. The world’s first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain system optimises space utilisation and energy efficiency, while the heat pump system enhances thermal efficiency and reduces energy loss across a wide temperature range. The BYD SEAL stands as the first model to embrace a rear-wheel-drive architecture, symbolising its commitment to pushing boundaries and setting new benchmarks in EV engineering.

Ocean Aesthetics: Masterfully Crafted Design for a New Era

Under the visionary leadership of BYD’s Global Chief Designer, Wolfgang Egger, the BYD SEAL embodies a new era of automotive design, rooted in the “Ocean Aesthetics” philosophy.

The latest model, inspired by the “X” concept, combines style and performance with its aerodynamic, coupe-like design, boosting both appeal and efficiency. Distinctive features such as the wave waistline, waterdrop mirrors, panoramic glass roof, and LED tail light reflect natural elegance, mirroring waves and mountains. The BYD SEAL, with its spacious interior offering 400L of boot space and an additional 50L under the bonnet, presents a bold stance at 4800mm long and 1875mm wide. The Thaumas Black interior, along with the crystal gearshift, further add a touch of luxury, making it a true embodiment of Ocean Aesthetics.

Intelligent Technology: A New Paradigm in Connectivity and Comfort

The BYD SEAL is a marvel of modern automotive technology, featuring a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen that sits at the heart of its cabin, offering drivers an intuitive interface for navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. This is complemented by the BYD intelligent cockpit system, which integrates seamlessly with the BYD App, allowing for enhanced connectivity and control. With voice command functionality, drivers can effortlessly interact with the vehicle’s system, enhancing the ease of driving. The inclusion of a premium HIFI Dynaudio sound system ensures an immersive auditory experience, while the advanced PM2.5 filtration system promises a clean and healthy in-cabin atmosphere, safeguarding the health and well-being of its occupants.

Multi-Dimensional Safety: Setting New Benchmarks

Safety is paramount in the BYD SEAL, which has been accorded with a five-star safety rating from ANCAP, adhering to the stringent 2023-25 testing criteria. The combination of Blade Battery technology and CTB construction not only enhances the vehicle’s stability but also improves its safety profile. The BYD SEAL’s battery sandwich structure, optimised force transmission path, and IP67-rated battery demonstrate a commitment to building a robust and reliable EV. With its enhanced torsional rigidity and passive safety features, including nine airbags, along with active safety measures like the ADAS and a high-resolution 360 camera system, the BYD SEAL is engineered to provide peace of mind on every journey.

Superior Control for a Refined and Dynamic Drive

The BYD SEAL takes vehicle handling and comfort to new heights with its double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension, delivering precise control and a smooth ride. Carefully curated for both visual appeal and on-road performance, the BYD SEAL promises a superior driving experience, catering to the preferences of every discerning driver.

The iTAC intelligent torque adaptation control system ensures optimal performance in varying driving conditions, while the 50:50 front and rear axle load distribution ensures a more balanced and responsive driving experience. Its minimal turning radius of 5.7 meters makes navigating through urban spaces effortless, emphasising the BYD SEAL’s versatility as a city-friendly EV.
