All NEW SHOEI Flagship Road Racing Helmet: X-Fifteen has landed

The long awaited SHOEI’s premium road racing helmet, X-Fifteen has finally arrived in Malaysia. Sinar Puncak Sdn Bhd, authorized distributor of SHOEI has officially unveiled their latest offering yesterday. SHOEI Malaysia hosted and invited the FIRST 100 X-Fifteen owners to attend the exclusive preview event. The FIRST 100 X-Fifteen owners get the chance to choose preferred graphic and finalize the sizing from the FIRST X-Fifteen PFS session. Every owner will receive an exclusive limited X-Fifteen gift set.

One of its key attributes of the X-Fifteen was developed and refined using SHOEI’s state-of-the art wind tunnel facility resulting in high efficiency aerodynamics for high speed up to 350km/h. Enhancing high-speed stability has been prioritized over reducing the negative forces (Boasts impressive reductions in drag (6.1%) and lift (1.6%) as compared to its predecessor).

Furthermore, it features a Multi-Ply Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) Shell, a six-ply matrix of fiberglass with lightweight, organic and high-performance fiber. This tough shell is effectively at absorbing shocks while maintaining the shell’s integrity. Thus, it was designed to be a pure racing helmet which promised exceptional performance, functionality and safety.

While the Multi-Piece/Multi-Density EPS Liner provides optimized impact absorption by utilizing varying densities of foam in key areas around the head. Precise placement of multi-density EPS material yields a more compact, lightweight design.

To optimize the ventilation and airflow of the Shoei X-Fifteen, the 7 closable air inlets and 6 air outlets have been designed to allow all the hot air to escape. Besides, the EPS tunnels of the X-Fifteen have been extended from 6mm to 10mm in depth,

significantly boosting the volume of the cold air and the pace of hot air evacuation. This helps to draw cool, refreshing air through the helmet.

Additionally, the innovative cheek pad cooling system has undergone significant improvement by increasing the number of holes that deliver refreshing air to the rider’s cheek area.

As for comfort aspects, the All-new pocket-shaped pads have separate, removable layers that can be peeled away to further optimize a precision fit. Patented angle adjustment mechanism changes helmet positions up to 4 degrees to increase upper field of vision while tucked in extreme racing positions.

In term of functionality, the double-layer lens lock design provides better stability during high-speed riding. With its unique two-stage shield locking system [racing shield lock and center locking mechanism], the X-Fifteen offers the best defense against unanticipated shield releases in the event of a fall. In addition, a newly developed trigger lock mechanism prevents the shield from detaching after an accident or crash, adding even greater confidence.

Most importantly, X-Fifteen meets the latest ECE22.06 and FIM homologation safety standards. To prevent fogging in various weather conditions, X-Fifteen is fitted with a CWR-F2R shield/visor which able to provide a clear vision. This CWR-F2R shield and base plate system is the most sophisticated on the market right now when combined with the most recent window beading, which inhibits wind and water

entry when the shield is secured. And, it is available in a wide range of colours and graphics to cater different individual’s taste. The helmet sizes ranging from XS to
