The locally assembled Kia Carnival 7-seater and 8-seater variants now feature an interior with Black and Gray leatherette finishing, providing a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic. Additionally, both the 7-seater and 8-seater variants are equipped with new 19-inch Black alloy wheels as standard, enhancing their overall appearance and presence on the road.

The specifications of the Kia Carnival 7-seater and 8-seater variants remain unchanged from the previous variants. This includes premium features such as front styling with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), Dual Power Sunroof, Smart Power Sliding doors and Smart Power Tailgate. Additionally, both the 7-seater and 8-seater variants continue to offer Heated and Ventilated Seats, Interior LED lamps and Surround View Monitor. The Premium Relaxion seats, however, it’s important to note that the centre walkthrough seat configuration is exclusive to the 7-seater High variant, providing added convenience and versatility for passengers in that specific configuration.

The 2024 Kia Carnival continues to impress with its advanced technology and connectivity features. The standard offerings include a 12.3-inch High-resolution Touchscreen Infotainment system, providing a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto adds convenience for seamless smartphone integration, allowing users to access their preferred apps and features without the need for physical connections.

For added convenience and connectivity, the Carnival comes equipped with wireless smartphone charging, Bluetooth connectivity and seven USB ports, enhancing the overall connectivity experience. In terms of safety features, the 7-seater and 8-seater Carnival comes with a host of standard safety and advanced safety features which includes 7 SRS Airbags (Front & Passenger, Driver Knee, Side and Curtain), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Multi-Collision Brake Control (MCB), ISOFIX Child Restraint Anchor Points and Top Tethers as well as Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). The Kia Carnival also comes equipped with newly added advanced safety features such as Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) while the other advanced safety features remain unchanged.

The Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2L Turbo diesel engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission controlled by an electronic shifter (E-Shift). Its engine produces 199 horsepower at 3,800 RPM and 440 Nm of torque from just 1,750 – 2,750 RPM, offering smooth, linear acceleration and a performance driving experience.

The vehicle is now officially open for booking with a starting price of RM 245,888.00* and comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty with a coverage period of up to five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first. The 2024 Kia Carnival are locally assembled as CKD at the Inokom Assembly Plant in Kulim, Kedah. The colour line-up includes Astra Blue, Snow White Pearl, Meteor Gray and Jet Black, making a total of 4 colours available.

In addition to the Kia Carnival CKD variants, the Kia Carnival 11-seater variant offers more seating capacity of four rows of seating configuration. This setup can be beneficial for larger families as it provides a spacious and versatile option for customers who require extra seating in their vehicles.
