Team FX Primus Aylezo made a comeback after a disappointing 1st round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series in Shanghai last month. While making good times during free practice in Shanghai, the team were plague with mechanical problems in Race 1 and an accident in Race 2.

The team worked hard for Round 2 in Sepang today and were handsomely rewarded with a 2nd position in Race 1. Starting from 5th on the grid, Dilantha Malagamuwa took the first drive and pushed both the machine and himself into 3rd position. When 2nd driver Zen Low took over, he make sure he didn’t disappoint his partner and took it from 3rd, 2nd and eventually 1st. Zen was being pushed all the way till the final lap when his car lost grip at turn 9 and almost spun out. Zen managed to take control but lost a place and had to settle for 2nd position.

Race 2 is on tomorrow and Team FX Primus Aylezo is motivated and confident of making it into the top 3.
