Launch of CKD KTM Duke 690 & Duke R

 

Motonation Manufacturer Sdn Bhd made a milestone in Malaysia by unveiling for the first time ever a European brand motorcycle that will be produce in Malaysia. Motonation is the KTM motorcycle distributor in Malaysia and seeing the increasing demand for KTM motorcycles both domestically and regionally, Motonation has taken the initiative to set up a completely-knocked-down (CKD) plant, which is expected to be fully operational this year, to assembly the 690 Duke and Duke R models.

According to Mr. Kenny Lee, CEO of Motonation Manufacturer Sdn Bhd, “we are committed to produce both the models with the same quality expectation as those in Austria and with plans to have dealers set up across Malaysia, we are strongly working towards serving and giving the best to our customers”.

KTM has been dominating most of the world’s off-road series with championships won on the MX1, MX2, Enduro, IDM racing and most prestigiously the recently concluded Paris Dakar race. “With track records like that and a “Ready to race” theme, our customers can be assured of having a test proven, world class winning motorcycle” Kenny further adds.
